Call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in, inform your bank, and keep screenshots, transaction IDs and the numbers or UPI IDs used. Don't delete chats.
The demand notice must be sent within 30 days of receiving the bank's return memo. The drawer then has 15 days to pay, after which the complaint must be filed within one month.
First find out which police station or cyber cell asked for the freeze and in which case. Release is then sought from the investigating agency or the court, with documents explaining the transactions.
Your ID, bank statements, screenshots, any notice or FIR copy, and for cheque cases the original cheque, return memo and proof of the debt.
